A Hands-on Culinary Experience in the Heart of Florence
1. Reach our historic palace in the heart of Florence and enjoy one of the most authentic culinary experiences in the city.
2. Visit the Pasta Museum with an expert guide and discover antique tools and the fascinating history of fresh pasta.
3. Put on your apron and use the rolling pin to learn how to make authentic fresh pasta by hand.
4. Sit down and enjoy the pasta you prepared, sharing a convivial Italian-style meal together.
5. Take part in a professional wine tasting, sampling five organic Tuscan wines from our family farm. You will also have access to our shop to purchase wines and pasta tools at special prices.
In one of the city’s most fascinating historic palaces, just steps from Ponte Vecchio and Duomo, you’ll experience Florence’s best fresh pasta school, an adventure that combines culture, taste, and conviviality.
Guided by a professional instructor, step into the history of Italian pasta at a charming Pasta Museum with antique tools used for centuries to make fresh pasta. The visit includes a welcome glass of Prosecco sparklin wine and a short film in a private cinema room.
Then move straight to hands-on practice with the traditional preparation of ravioli, tortelli, and fettuccine. You’ll be the protagonist, kneading, rolling, and shaping fresh pasta with your own hands.
Each participant prepares their own pasta, then we cook everything together in the same pot to share like in a real Italian home. While our signature tomato sauce had simmered for hours in advance, you’ll watch as your instructor prepares the delicate butter and sage sauce for the ravioli and tortelli right before your eyes.
Our tomato sauce and ravioli fillings are made at least two hours in advance, a step that lets the ingredients rest and the flavors deepen — just as any Italian home cook would do.
During the experience we will also explore the world of wine, tasting five different organic Tuscan wines from our family farm, produced from traditional native grape varieties of Tuscany.
This isn’t simply a cooking class, it’s a journey that weaves together theory, tradition, and creativity. The 3-hour experience culminates when we all gather around a large convivial table to savor the delicacies you’ve created, sharing stories and laughter just like in a true Italian family.
A fun and engaging experience for individuals, couples, groups of friends, families, students, and corporate teams who want to experience Florence through one of its most beloved treasures: its cuisine.
